Hamlet’s mission is to make public information more accessible. We are a venture-backed startup using AI to transform mountains of unstructured data into a digestible format that gives our private- and public-sector customers a sizable information advantage.
What You’ll Do
You will play a crucial role in the creation and refinement of our AI-generated content. Your responsibilities will span from data collection and content editing to tracking the accuracy of AI outputs and collaborating with our tech and development teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for training contract editors on our processes and ensuring that our quality standards are consistently met. This role demands a high level of adaptability, a quick learning curve, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Employment and Work Environment:
- Employment Type: Part-time contract into full-time employment
- Remote Work: This is a remote position, and candidates must be comfortable working independently and as part of a distributed team. This position will be hybrid if located in greater Seattle, San Francisco, or Los Angeles areas

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Collect and organize public data for AI processing from various platforms.
- Content Editing: Review AI-generated content for quality and accuracy.
- Contract Editor Oversight: Train, manage, and assign tasks to contract editors, ensuring adherence to editorial processes and quality standards.
- AI Accuracy & Product Collaboration: Track and document the accuracy of AI-generated content, report findings to the broader team, and collaborate with the tech team on new product ideation and the development of existing products.
Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency & Project Management: Comfortable with online collaboration tools, data management, and project management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Detail-Oriented & Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail in editing and accuracy tracking, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Training & Mentorship: Experienced in training and mentoring others, particularly in editorial processes, ensuring consistency and quality in team output.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Highly adaptable to changing circumstances, with a resourceful approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data research/analysis and project management roles–in an editorial environment is a plus.
